| Just want to say how much I appreciate Franco and the entire Eagle River Automotive crew.....front desk, mechanics, parts runners....ALL OF YOU!!! What a warm , welcoming, and professional bunch you are. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Thank you again for always making sure our vehicles get the care and attention they need. Carole C. |

| I had my vehicle towed to Eagle River Automotive after a rapid coolant loss and overheating situation occurred on my way home on the highway. It was after hours so I placed my keys in their drop box along with a description of the problem. The staff contacted me the next day after they evaluated the issue and I was pleasantly surprised that they indicated there was only an external leak in the heater hose assembly (it could have been a much more expensive diagnosis). They indicated that they would have to order the hose assembly from the manufacturer at a high cost and long wait (7-10 days). I agreed, but quickly did some online research and found a comparable part locally at an autoparts store. I called Eagle River Automotive back and asked if I could purchase a non factory part on my own and have them install it. They complied and I appreciated their willingness to do so. I got the part to them the next morning and they had my vehicle ready later that day. The staff was polite and willing to work with me on the replacement part. I know that many shops wouldn't be so flexible because they are losing money by doing that. I'm docking one star because they didn't suggest alternate options for getting the part I needed from the start. Honestly, I don't think many shops would suggest alternatives with regards to parts because the mark ups on parts is part of their profit margin. All in all a good experience that could have been much worse. DS |

| They insisted that they replace expensive parts that are not worn or defective. This is a consumer rip off. This is not necessary and resulted in an inflated bill. In short I will not return and will recommend others seek auto repairs elsewhere. |

| I highly recommend against going to Eagle River Automotive for servicing your vehicle. I first paid 108 dollars so they could tell me what I already knew was wrong with my car. Then I brought it the next week to get a power steering hose replaced. They kept my vehicle for six days, and never once offered me a loaner so I could get to work. Any time I wanted information, I had to call them because they would not contact me to give updates. A few days after I picked up the car (I paid about 200 dollars more than the estimate), the car caught fire spontaneously and burned, along with my possessions which were in there at the time. I have asked Eagle River Automotive several times to refund the money for this repair, not as an admission of fault, but as a courtesy because of what happened. They have refused to do so. |
